Only when using a TLS encrypted database connection (TCPS), downloads from interactive reports fail with a 500 Internal Server Error in the browser and a “ java.sql.SQLException: ORA-17401: Protocol violation.: [ 14, 3, ]” in the standalone Jetty server output. This is with ORDS 25.4, Apex 24.2.13, and Oracle DB 19.30. If I switch the ORDS connection to the unencrypted SQLNet port, the interactive report download functions just fine. The rest of the Apex Builder environment is working ok with the encrypted database connection, the problem seems to be isolated to downloading files from the database. Also the downloads from the classic report continue to work fine when using the encrypted database connection. The problem reproduces for me in a newly created, very simple interactive report. I do have an SR open on this but wanted to see if anyone else has had this experience. thanks.
