Download dashboard Office 97

Hello,
I've tried to download reports in Excel or Power Point with Office 97 and I can't read the xls generated.
It works downloading with "Excel 2000" option but it only works with tables and not with graphics.
It seems that OBI is not compatible with Office 97. Anyone can confirm?
