We are doing database upgrade from 11.2.0.4 to 12.2.0.1 but for rollback scenario we are considering the downgrade option.
Scenario:
Day1 : Upgrade the database from 11g (11.2.0.4) to 12c (12.2.0.1)
Day 2 : Application started and accessing the the 12C database.
Day 7: Noted performance or some issue due to upgrade and now need to downgrade the database.
Question : Can database downgrade possible after its already been used by application for 5-10 days. ? will there be any challenges?.
Any special consideration we need to take care (apart from compatible parameter)
