I am using SQL Developer (Version 3.2.20.09) on a laptop running Windows 7 and have been having the same irritating problem for a long time and hoped someone here might be able to help. When I am entering data (text or numbers, it doesn't matter) into my database, often the first character (and only ever the first) often appears twice even though I have only pressed the key once. It is making data entry a very time-consuming process as I have to keep checking whether it has decided to do a double character entry or not. My colleague has the same setup on her PC and doesn't experience this issue, so I can't understand what it is. Can anyone help?
