DOS JVM
843811May 17 2002 — edited Sep 18 2002Why doesn't there seem to be much support for a DOS JVM?
Kaffe claims to support it.
What a wonderful way to take advantage of junk computers in the field, while letting the developers write in Java.
With a tool like Charva to handle the AWT/Swing stuff.
I bet Micro$oft's .NET won't be able to support DOS, but Java could.
I know, I know, --> just upgrade
Response: I have too many customers all of which we give hardware for free
I know that there were tons of devices built to support DOS. These devices are still around. Doesn't anyone else want to have a JVM on them?
