Does VPD have its own license?

Hi,

I have an XE APEX app that I want to run free as I believe I can from what I've heard and read.

I would like to use VPD in it so I can seperate the users and create groups of users and secure them all not to see each others data.

I know it may be over kill but the experience of implementing VPD and mainaining issues that may occur would be great!

But, is there a price to pay? If so how do I get details? I guess I could call Oracle Sales?

Any input is appreciated.
