I have a dataguard setup with a primary instance and 2 physical standby instances. FSFO is enabled between primary and one of the standbys in max availability mode. Logxptmode is set to sync. I read an article mentioning the use of fastsync instead of sync in FSFO configuration to improve the primary throughput time. I tried changing the logxptmode of the fsfo standby to fastsync. However not able to enable FSFO as its complaining of incompatible setting. Does fast sync work only with far sync?
