Query: I want to know if Oracle supports 11g 11.2.0.4 and higher versions RAC on vmware environment.
My company is going on virtual enviroment. we have to reduce physical servers and deploy on virtual environment.
My currenly environment:
Physcial Servers = 18
OS=Windows 2008 and 2012 64 bit
Oracle= 11.2.0.2 and 11.2.0.4
SGA( all databases)= 190 Gb
Total CPU Cores = 72
Applicaitons= six different versions
We are planning to use RAC in virtual environment. Two nodes for RAC and third one for oracle dataguard.
Please suggest me what servers (economical) are recommended for RAC and could be fit our environment.
