Does Non Blocking Mode have to use OCIInitialize and OCIEnvInit?

15307Oct 4 2002
Hello all,

I am new to this OCI stuff, and I need a help on OCI Non Blocking Mode.

I tried to use OCIEnvCreate and Non Blocking Mode, and it seems the
OCIStmtExecute still goes in synchronous mode.

When I used OCIInitialize and OCIEnvInit, I can successfully made
asynchronous call.

Any insight on this matter. The OCI documentation clearly states
that we should use OCIEnvCreate. It said that OCIEnvInit and OCIInitialize is
only for backward compatibility.

Does anybody know how to use Non Blocking Mode with OCIEnvCreate?

Thank you in advance,

Suryadi
