Does it (mDNS daemon) maintain profile.XML file

Dear Linux Experts,

Suppose i'm going for GNS configuration, when we use GNS, Public IP and PUBLIC VIP are assigned by DHCP.

As i know profile.XML file is maintained and accessed by Gpnp

1) Why mDNS daemon is maintained profile.XML file too additionally ?
