Does alter table drop columns continue checkpoint 10000 really continue

Hi,
on my 10.2.0.3 I've got 260GB table with 2000 partitions .
There was a cancel of command alter table drop columns continue checkpoint 10000 ,
my question is after rerun would oracle start from the beginning or continiue from
last checkpoint ?
Job is running lik 14h for now.
