Does 9i Lite need 9i Application Server to work with PocketPC-based handhelds?
Hi everyone. I've read in the documentation for 9i Lite both that 9i Application Server is a required component, and that 9i Lite can run without 9i Application Server (using the Web-To-Go component).
As far as I can tell, the Web-To-Go component is only intended to work on laptops (as opposed to the PocketPC-based handhelds like the Compaq iPAQ). Can Web-To-Go be used to synchronize data between the main database and a handheld, or does 9i Lite need 9i Application Server to work with handhelds?
