We are planning to develop our custom Document Management System, Is it recommended to use Oracle APEX technology to develop this DMS in it by keeping in mind following key points ?
1. We have in total 3.5 million documents scanned from scanner and uploaded from local computers.
2. Extensive scanning/uploading will be performed by approximately 50 users at a time.
3. Document modification/processing facilities will be there like editing existing PDF documents (Insert/Update/Delete) on a specific PDF document.
4. Encryption and decryption of documents also required
5. Integration with Microsoft Office
6. Dynamic Form creation on front end for different template/document types
7. Clustering, Load balancing and backups
8. Integration with OCR & Bar code reader & RFID devices/technologies
9. Digital Signatures via PKI (Public Key Interface)
10. Automatic Archival of incoming Faxes
What is the suggestion from Oracle experts either we should go for Oracle APEX or not ? If not then what are the best available technologies in Oracle platform we can use to develop this product.
