"Do you want to run this application." message after updating to Java 8.0 update 121

3400452Feb 17 2017 — edited Mar 27 2017

We are using a 3rd party applications from a Vendor, with Java 8.0 update 111 and lower we get the message "Do you want to run this application." and we can click "Do not show this again for apps from the publisher and location above".

With Java 8.0 update 121 and above when we click "Do not show this again for apps from the publisher and location above" it will re-appear when using the application again.

We also tried hiding the message by using the "Mixed code (sandboxed vs. trusted) security verification" this didn't make any difference.

I opened a ticket with the Vendor and they said it's Java related.

I also tried the jre-8u152-ea-bin-b01-windows-x64-10_feb_2017 but that gives me the same message message.

I hope someone has a solution for this or can point me in the right direction.

We want to use Java 8.0 update 121 or above since it fixes an issue that we experienced for long time.

Thanks in advance.
