Dear Guru's
Is DNS configuration is required for SCAN ip configuration to work in RAC on Oracle 11gr2. I googled what i came to know is scan ip is not provided in the /etc/hosts file and to configure SCAN DNS need to be configured.
Can anyone let me know the step by step procedure how to configure SCAN using DNS. As i google around but when i try to implement that steps there is always an error
