DNS change & Oracle Apps giving Problems

Our network team has changed the DNS and our Oracle Apps starting giving problems. I heard that if we change DNS we have to reinstall the Oracle Apps from the scrach? which we can't afford it currently. Any solution for this problem is heartly and high appreciated as its a very very urgent issue for us.
