Distributed transaction between Oracle and Mysql

Hi everybody,
I want to do a transaction distribuited from Oracle (10.2.0.4) with Mysql (5.1) using HSODBC, but it gives me an error ORA-02047: Cannot join the distribuited transaction in progress. I found that it is a limitation of Generic Connectivity. I have some questions
- It is true?
- If I use Database Gateway will be possible the distribuited transaction or not?
- In any case, Anybody will kwow how can I to do a distribuited transaction on Oracle and Mysql having consistence in both databases?
