Distributed database & RAC

HI

I'm new in RAC, and I'm going to Choose my graduation Project....

after reading about RAC :

i found that RAC is one physical Database exist in multiple computer, every computer has it Instance and every computer called Cluster.... is it correct?

my question is : can i distributed my rac in multiple region, Actually I confused about what is the rac and what is Distributed database

Can i join between tow concepts
