Displaying DRM Data in Microsoft Excel

Brian UmbargerApr 22 2019 — edited Apr 24 2019

Requirement is to allow Users to enter in a Cost Center number: example: CC12345 and then auto populate all the 'property values' that are tagged to that cost center. So the User would be in an Excel spreadsheet, and they would select a particular cell > Type in the Cost Center 'name': CC12345 > and then hit enter. Essentially this can be done by running an export with all of the properties that applied to the cost center dimension > and then copying any pasting the export into the worksheet itself. Then run vlookups on the node name to whatever other columns are export. But my question is more around the external connection. How can I run and export > house the data somewhere somehow > and then connect to it through Microsoft Excel? We are a two man crew and need to limit manual maintenance wherever possible. Greatly appreciate any insight, or suggestions! Thanks! Brian Umbarger
