Displaying Decimal Places

I wonder if anyone can help.

I am trying to set oracle up to always display the decimal numbers according to the scale. So if the number was set up as 8,2 and 150 was held in a field, 150.00 would be displayed.

Is the a setting for this, how would I set it?
