Displaying ADF pages properly on PDA Browsers.

User11050584-OracleNov 17 2016 — edited Nov 18 2016

Hi,

We have a requirement to display our UIs on the browsers of PDA devices which have very low memory configuration and screen size. We already have developed ADF Pages for our Desktop users. These Desktop pages show a lot of fields on the UI.

The same pages render on the PDA devices but the UI look and feel is not good because of the huge number of fields and the smaller font sizes.

So, we have decided to create new ADF pages in the same application specifically for PDA users with very FEW fields. Even with this approach, the fonts of the fields are very small and we see a lot of white space on the UI. Users need to use the ZOOM feature of the browser to be able to view the fields.

Is there a suggestion from the experts on how this small font and large white space issue can be resolved ? I thought using the mobile.css skin provided by JDEV for ADF Mobile Browser apps can solve the problem. Is it true ? If so, from where can I download it ?

Thanks,

Pavan.
