DISPLAY variable not set

I am running Secure Global Desktop 4.2 Trial copy from a down load.

It is running on RedHat 4.2 .

DNS is set fine.

Each client and the server always start the general application and then
die at the start of Java.

The error is DISPLAY is not set Java is expectiing the DISPLAY variable
to be set.

What script is started to launch an application from the Web server.
Can I hard code the DISPLAY variable there and export it.
