Display issues with Pivot Table

Hi Everyone,

I am using Jdev 11.1.1.2.I want to show a report in grid form so in a jspx i dropped a view object as pivot table.Here the issue is it is taking lot of time to disply the content.
Actually overall there are almost 30,000 records but i am using filters for department and supervisor in order to reduce the no of display rows to 10-30 records.Still it is taking lot of time to show the list of values for department and supervisor and even to display the records.

Can some one tell me how to solve this issue and even i want to know like is it advisable to use pivot table for large no of records.
