Display Default Value For Between Dates in Dashboard Prompt

OBIEE 11g

My users would like to say default values displayed in my dashboard prompts. So far I created a dashboard prompt using between operator for calendar dates between CURRENT_DATE - 7 and CURRENT_DATE through SQL results. However when the dashboard runs the date fields are blank and not displaying those dates. Does anyone know how to get these to display. Thanks in advance.
