Display default date as blank or null

user1129644Aug 5 2015 — edited Aug 5 2015

Hi Team,

Can you please tell me how to display default date as blank or null in sql report output through SQL developer?

In my below example, date_1 field has combination of real dates and no entry dates which are being auto populated with 01/01/1900.

I wish to dispaly all my default dated entries with a bank or a null.

Please provide me full example in your solution. Thanks in advance.

select to_char(date_1,'DD/MM/YYYY') as "Entry date"

from item

where

name='UNICORN'

Actual Output:

01/01/1900

01/01/1900

05/08/2015

01/01/1900

04/08/2015

Expected Output

<Blank>

<Blank>

05/08/2015

<Blank>

04/08/2015
