DiskGroup "DATA" does not exist or not mounted.

hi,

I am installing ASM on oracle 11g r2 on solaris 10, i have created raw files using dd command . I have install grid infrastructure successfully which create disk group name data , after that while creating database using dbca when i select disk group it shows me message DiskGroup "DATA" does not exist or not mounted.
The mention disk group was created during grid installation successfully but while configuring ASM from dbca it show me error , any idea...
