Oracle Database Discussions

Hi,

I have installed Oracle 9i Server in my machine. While installing, I checked the option to create a database using database configuration assistant, and to create a separate new repository for management server.

The installations were successful, and here are the database details:

(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS_LIST=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=incdw2k062)(PORT=1521)))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVER=DEDICATED)(SERVICE_NAME=OEMREP.systechin.com))

The problem i am facing is described here:

I was able to view both the databases in the Oracle Enterprise Manager Console, Standalone.

However, I am not able to view the same in the Oracle Enterprise Manager Console, Administrator:SYSMAN, Management Server:incdw2k062.systechin.com

I tried to add the database through discover node option. But, it failed. I am getting the error: "Discovery Failed: VD-4564"

Please help me in resolving this issue. I am a newbie to ORACLE.
