Discoverer latest version and information

Hi all,

I would like to know what is the latest version of OracleBI Discovererand any upcoming version I mean is there any new version is coming soon,

Also Discoverer can be used used only for sources Oracle database, that could be standalone DB or ORacle apps database, is there any sources can we use like other sources to build reports.

Excuse me for asking these kind of basic questions.
