Discoverer Desktop / Admin client / server going bye bye?

A client I know has been looking to purchase the newest client / server version of Discoverer 11i ( Desktop / Administrator ).

However, they've been advised by the Oracle representative that Oracle is no longer selling Discoverer. I looked online and did see a 3rd party company selling Desktop but not Admin. Of course I can still download them for free which is interesting (get it while you can?).

This sure goes against the last SOD - but realistically, they're SOD seems pretty old now - so has anyone heard anything about this - or is Oracle just jacking them around as they try to steer everyone in the OBIEE direction?
