Hello,
Oracle hasn't been able to help me make this work; 2 open SR's for weeks and no good answer. They referred me to the onlinappsdba people and various other public websites. We run EBS 12.1.3 and Disco 11.1.1.7.0 with 10g SSO and WNA and SSL. That works fine, users identity is established via WNA on our corporate network, with zero sign-on. I'm replacing 10gSSO with OAM 11.1.2. OAM/OID works fine for EBS and OBIEE, still zero sign-on with OID 11.1.1.7.0 and the AccessGate piece (and a webgate for both). (Way too many servers to support SSO in my opinion; if something goes wrong, too many places to look.) For Disco, I created the osso.conf in OAM 11.1.2, installed to correct folder on Disco, and bounced Disco. That works OK if the authentication method in OAM is forms-based authentication, with OAM prompting the user for signon, then OID passes the user name and password thru OID to Active Directory, and login to Disco then prompts for username, then gives access to workbooks. No prompts in Disco for password. But when I try to enable WNA as the authentication method in OAM, Discoverer first prompts the 'Oracle Applications' connection for a username and EUL. But then Disco prompts the user for a password, which no longer exists in fnd_user; since authentication is external. Logins fail. I'm also not able to create a private connection; that Disco dialog also prompts for a user password. At the Disco connection page, the user session has gone to OAM and done a successful authentication via WNA. I can tell from monitoring the session via fiddler. That gets passed back to Disco, but Disco is missing something and prompts for the password. OAM support at Oracle seems to think that OAM isn't sending the right cookie to Discoverer, though I'm not so sure.
First, WNA with Disco should work with OAM, right? Any thoughts on what might be missing? I've gone thru the MOS notes a few times, followed the onlinappsdba tutorial on this closely.
Thanks much.
Tom
