Disabling Web Browser Proxy Configuration does not seem to persist

884368Aug 24 2011 — edited Aug 24 2011
I have concluded that to be able to connect to my subversion server, i need to disable Proxy Configuration in Oracle SQL Data Modeller by going to

Tools > Preferences > Web Browser and Proxy > and ensure that "Use HTTP Proxy Server" is left unticked.

This works fine the first time i 'untick' this box.

However if i close Data Modeller and open it again, even though the box has remained unticked, it now behaves as if it was ticked and i can no longer connect to my repository !

To work around this i have to go back into the Preferences, tick "Use HTTP Proxy Server", untick it again....and then click OK

I am having to do this every time i close/reopen Oracle SQL Data Modeller.

Is this a bug? It seems even though the box is unticked, it behaves as if it was...
