Disabling unwanted locations from FDM

Hi ,

We recently upgraded from 9.3 to 11.1.2.2. We created some new locations as per the requirement and now we want to remove some unwanted locations? does it affect in old data(2011,2012) if we remove the locations? if it affects is there any other process?
