Disabling tips or unnecessary tips/hints while typing in SQL editor

Hi,

I am using this Oracle SQL developer tool. I want to know how can I disable following features

Tool automatically tries to list all tables when I type some thing line "select * from" or put a dot after a table name. This is very annoying to me as SQL Developer hangs for like 5 mins and I cant do anything. I know in TOAD we can disable this.

Any help is appreciated
