Disabling automatic memory management

Gowin_dbaMay 16 2013 — edited May 16 2013
Hi,

Is enough to set following parameters "MEMORY_TARGET=0" & "MEMORY_MAX_TARGET=0" to disable automatic memory management in 11G and setting sga_max_size & sga_target smaller than the minimum of OS parameters "process.max-address-space" and "project.max-shm-memory". Atlast Db bounce.

Anything else??

DB version : 11.2.0.3
OS : Linux 2.6.18

Thx,

Gowin
