Disabled checkboxes not being passed to process

Bill CarlisleMay 14 2011 — edited May 14 2011
Hi,
Using APEX 4.0.2.00.07
I have a checkbox item that is populated normally with LOV and the a procedure

that creates the colon delimited list for the source region to tell APEX which are

checked.

I select/deselect the checkboxes, save and all is great. The status of each is

saved properly, all is good.

Got a requirement to disable any checkboxes that the user does not have access,

through xref table etc...

It was decided to do this through client side JQuery so I did it and it works

great, the page renders and shows all the checkboxes with the correct ones disabled. When I hit save it only passes the enabled checkboxes.

I put debug before it hits my process.

no disable

with disable

Its not getting the full list.

Any ideas?
This should not happen in the APEX passing of data, correct?
