Disable value in drop down list in Apex 4.2

Sruthi TamiriMar 25 2016 — edited Mar 28 2016

Hi All,

In our application we have list item which is of type static values.

  Static values contains as

  1. Price Static.

  2. Sales

  3. External and soon....

Now they want to remove Price Static and replace with Analysis.

We have two screens in our application one is for Insert/Update & other is for search screen.

In Insert/Update screen i can remove Price Static and replace with Analysis key word.

But in search screen i need to retain Price Static along with new key word as Analysis. The reason is that if they want to see historical data for price static they should able to search results.

So when drop down appears in search screen "Price Static" should appear to them as "disable" or "gray out" and if they select that key word and click on search button results should be disabled, only thing is that value should be in disable or gray out for them.

I have created on example in apex.oracle.com and below are details, please help me on this request.

Let us say in my example i want to disable user "Scott".
