Disable User While Provisioning

Hello IDMers,

When the start date for a user is in the future and the user is currently provisioned to AD in "Disabled Until Start Date" status.
But When I look at the user in AD he is in a enabled state.

Can you please tell me how to provision the user in a disabled state prior to his start date?? I thought it was a out of the box functionality but in my case it is in an enabled state.
