Disable ROLLBACK SEGMENT ?

odabovalFeb 27 2008 — edited Feb 27 2008
Hello

We are in 10gR2 and we have some PLSQL procedures that use a huge amount of Memory (TEMP table space, etc ... ) and time.

We don't need to use ROLLBACK ... if there is a pb, then, we just re-run the procedure.

For performance reasons, would it be possible to "disable the rollback segment" and everything relative to a ROLLBACK so that the procedure runs faster ?
We would like to do that, obviously, ONLY for these 3 or 4 procedures, I suppose, at the beginning of the PLSQL code, and then re-activate the Rollback segment afterwards...

I hope you can give some advices ...

Thanks a lot in advance,
Olivier
