Disable Mobile User

Hi People,

Does anyone know of a way to disable a user (subscription) without actually dropping the user from the repository. I need to be able to carry out some server side tasks in the knowledge that no Mobile User will be able to sync during that time. I can see that I could achieve this using a kind of lock/access table but that would require a modification to the application already deployed in the field and I don't want to do that. I'd rather find an 'Internal' mechanism.

Any Suggestions?
