"disable fan-trap detection" checkbox setting is not reatined on exit

Hi

We are using OracleBI Discoverer 10g (10.1.2.3)

In our production system when I select the "disable fan-trap detection" checkbox (Tools > Optons > Advanced tab) the settting is not retained on exiting Discoverer. I need to set it each time I log on. However, in our test Discoverer system the setting is retained. Does anybody know why this? Is there another setting required?
