Disable Active Data Guard Option

Hi,

I was looking through the v$option view and noticed there are two entries for Data Guard.

Oracle Data Guard which is set to True
Active Data Guard which is set to True

Some of the other options can be un-installed/not installed. e.g. Partioning

I was wondering if this was possible with regards to Active Data Guard? But leaving the Data Guard component running for usage with Physical standby's?

That way the standby can be recovered once a night and Active Data Guard can not be switched on in-advertantly like we have had in the past.
