directory "not accessible" error

Afer installing JDeveloper on c:\jdev I try to create a new project on d:\

The dialog doesn't allow it stating "The directory D:\ is not accessible"

I tried to change in jdev.conf the SetUserHomeVariable to d:\ but that didn't help.

In case I try to open c:\ the dialog returns the same error.

How does one "mount" a new directory ??
