different version of kernel

Zio_mangroviaOct 2 2015 — edited Oct 3 2015

I installed Oracle Linux 7 and I'd like to understand what kernel I have to use at boot stage:

perhaps UEK 3.8.13-98.4.1.el7euk.x86_64 kernel... because I'm going to install Oracle server 12c, what do you think?

There are 2 different version of standard kernel and 2 different version of EUK, it happened because I made updates?
