Different server time in 2 RAC nodes

Hi, can someone tell me what could happen in case a RAC with 2 nodes, if one machine containing the first node having a different operational system time of the box of the second node ? Has someone experienced this situation ? Because I'm analyzing the alert.log of 2 nodes and it seems RAC had an issue due to different time in the OS of the boxes.
