difference from backing bean and request scopes

Kronos72itSep 24 2011 — edited Sep 28 2011
The Fusion Dev. Guide report at 25.3 :

Request scope: The object is available from the time an HTTP request is made until
a response is sent back to the client.

Backing bean scope: Used for managed beans for page fragments and declarative
components only, the object is available from the time an HTTP request is made until
a response is sent back to the client.

Then I can't understand the real meaning of backing bean scope.
