Difference between the cursor and the collection data type

Hi Guys,

Is there any difference between the cursor and the collection type while implementing the business logic.Because what ever we are able to do by cursor the same thing we can do by pl/sql table with bulk collect.I just want to know what is the difference implementing the business requirement not the memory consumption and all.
