Difference between SFTP and HTTPS. Which one is Best in Speed performance.

Hi,
Can anybody please help me

Ihave two options to transfer files 1is HTTPS and another one is SFTP
But i want to user better one in these two.Can u please send the downloading speed of Https and Sftp .
And also send the information on
Is there any cirtification needed to implement Https if then how to get that Cirtification.
Can u please help me AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
