Difference between non deferrable constraint and initially immediate defferable constraint

hi,

In 11g concepts  guide it is mentioned that

Non deferrable constraint- database checks the constraints at the end of each ststement.

Initially Immediate deferrable-database checks aftr each statement executes

Then what is the difference in them?
