Difference between Microsoft Access & Oracle?

Hi All,

I am new to Oracle, in fact haven't even laid my eyes on it yet! I am looking to apply for a job that sounds just like me, except part of it is generating queries/reports from Oracle.

I have used Microsoft Access for the past 4 years & am pretty good at the queries & reports, as well as everything else, in that. Is Oracle anything similar? The job requires some Access, but is mainly Oracle. I pick stuff up quickly and am sure I'll pick up Oracle as well, just wondering how similar the two are??
