Difference between isolated and cascading deletion property

hi,

I setting deletion property of relation in the master-detail related form. By using isolated and cascading deletion property both are producing identical result. By setting deletion property as isolated the child records are also deleted, which is against the statement of isolated deletion property.

Try to clarify my doubt.
